Is a New Age Christian Even Possible?

Jacquie J. Higinbotham

Jacquie J. Higinbotham came across a comment by Doreen Virtue, a former prominent New Ager who converted to conservative, fundamentalist Christianity, claiming there could be no such thing as a New Age Christian. Higinbotham, who identifies herself as a New Age Christian, wondered if she could possibly be right. And so Higinbotham set about to explore the matter. "Is a New Age Christian Even Possible?" presents her findings largely by comparing the Bible to The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ, by Levi Dowling.

A Pensive Pause

The Wake-up Call

Joanne Winetzki

Inspired by the message inside a fortune cookie —"Before you wonder, 'Am I doing things right?' ask, 'Am I doing the right things?'" — Joanne Winetzki shares her story of confronting a health crisis by switching paths toward healing.

A Peek Between the Covers

Dan Hahn

Babies Are Cosmic: Signs of Their Secret Intelligence by Elizabeth and Neil Carman, PhD, is the subject of the Reverend Daniel B. Hahn's "Peek Between the Covers." The book investigates how babies have lived before and that many remember their prebirth existence. Hahn, while noting the title offers "a cornucopia of empirical support," finds himself with some unanswered questions arising from the content and its implications.
